WEEK 17 - Final Pitching Experience

For this week, we are done with the final pitch for our startup idea. We have already made our Final Pitch powerpoint presentation, the Final Business Model Canvas, and the Final Video Demonstration. The final pitch presentation was held via Google meet. It was facilitated by our instructor and one of her colleagues as one of the judges for this event.

Our team was scheduled around 10:45 in the morning with a 15 minute interval between other groups. Our team entered the Google meet link around 10.15 so that we know who's group is next. Upon entering the Google meet, I noticed that most of my classmates attended the Google meet presentation despite the instruction that attending the meeting was optional if it was not their turn.

While waiting for our turn to present, I managed to listen to some of the questions and answers of the other group. Sir Marbert was the one who questioned the group presenter and at the same time gave feedback and recommendations on how to further improve our product or start up idea. It was a very informative discussion and I learned a lot from the questions and answers of the other group.

Another thing that I have noticed was the video demonstration of the other group. I was quite astonished to find out that my video presentation is totally different from what I have made. What I had in mind was totally different from the other groups. The thing about my video demo is that it is literally a demo of how our product works. There was no background music nor a cool transition of slides, just a demo on the functionality of our product.

Overall, I am glad that I have managed to present my startup idea despite having technical difficulties during the presentation.
