WEEK 1 - Self Assessment

 As part of the Techno101 requirement, I have taken the BII or the Berkly Innovative Index and the Personality test. I will discuss the results of my BII first then proceed to the personality test. From the result of my BII test above, you can see that my overall "Personal Innovation Mindset" is just average. The reason for this kind of subpar result is because I rarely trust people nowadays. Unlike before, I easily get attached to other people. Once they have gained my trust, they then start to take advantage of it. Now, every time I met someone new, I always think, at the back of my mind, about their motive or agenda as to why they approach me or trying to be nice to me. Aside from trust, another trait, that I would like to share with you is diversity. To achieve a good score on this trait, you must be open to other people, acknowledge their different views, background, and perspective in which I do not possess. As a result, I got a low score on this trait. Having a low score on this trait does not mean I am not open to other people's perspectives. I am very much welcome to other people's different points of view. It is just that I rarely talk or interact with people. I find social interactions to be cumbersome for me. In groups, I rarely talk or share my opinion and would rather agree on what was decided by the group rather than making objections or opinions.

The next test I have taken is the Personality test. This test determines and classifies what trait a person has. A classification code is then given to individuals with a certain trait. For my personality result, I got the ISFP-T type. Base on the definition from their website, this personality possesses the trait of being observant and prospecting, which is known for ingenuity and flexibility. In my opinion, the result accurately described my personality. I am an introverted person. I always find ways to do what I like. I am sensitive to other's feelings and value harmony than conflict. These are some of the personalities and traits that I have. I hope I may be able to change some of them after finishing this subject.
